Sushi-q - Toronto
Sushi-q
Description
Sushi Q, a Japanese fast-food spot in downtown Toronto, offers fresh and reasonably priced sushi and rice bowls. While some find the sushi flavorful and enjoy quick, healthy meals, others criticize small portions, inconsistent rice quality, and occasional service issues. The restaurant uses quality soy sauce, but lacks certain condiments like ginger. It’s ideal for casual dining rather than a gourmet sushi experience. Overall, Sushi Q serves decent, convenient Japanese fare, but expectations should be managed, especially regarding portion size and customer service.

The restaurant has a take-out counter and five dining spots available on-site. The sushi was tasty, and I've visited this place many times.
I highly recommend avoiding this place! I ordered the unagi rice bowl, and they only served me three tiny pieces of unagi along with a salad, all for nearly $20.
My friend and I were starving and just wanted something quick to eat last night before we left the area. We both ended up getting sick from this food, I had to grab medication to combat the stomach pain and nausea. I genuinely don’t know how bad quality the food is but I never get sick from food at all. Never coming back here Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
What happening Freshi, another Canadian franchise not able to pay Cadillac Fairview. Why did i have to pay extra for Mayo and ginger with sushi. At $13.99 the miso thimble should be free. Instead I’m being taking away by Sushi-queue for $23.99 with no drink Price per person: $20–30
