Seoulicious - Toronto
Seoulicious
Description
Seoulicious offers a mixed dining experience. While some dishes, like the beef back ribs and kalguksu, receive high praise for their authentic flavors and generous portions, others fall short on seasoning and presentation. The atmosphere is laid-back, bolstered by friendly and attentive staff. However, some diners report inconsistency in both food quality and service, with a few noting rudeness from the staff. Prices are fair for the location, but patrons may find better value and flavor at other establishments. Overall, Seoulicious shows promise, yet improvements are needed to enhance the dining experience.

*This is the restaurant to go if you want to be insulted by staff and spend your money on nothing but bad food*I don’t usually leave comments especially a bad one because I know it’s not easy to run a restaurant. But I do think I have the responsibility to save others and don’t let them feel hurt and upset like I did.Given the current poor scoring of this restaurant, I still decided to try as I thought it could just be being undervalued. However, this store does match its score and even 4 is way too generous. No fresh food, lower than average taste, rude staffs who are not willing to admit their mistakes, I don’t even understand why this restaurant still exists in this street.Maybe the only thing to say is their modern furnishing while nearby restaurants don’t have? But you know, if a restaurant cares nothing else, then it would not be a wise choice for you if you expect a good dining experience.
The food was good, the atmosphere was laid back and casual. The wait staff were amazing! They answered all of our questions, and provided some great recommendations.
I went here for the first time a week ago with my roommate because a friend of hers likes it here. I don’t have Korean food very often, so am not as familiar with the dishes and I’m sure that influences my perception of the taste. So, while the food was good, it wasn’t super flavourful without adding a bunch of the side sauces. Still good quality food, just not as strongly flavourful. The service staff were all very friendly and helpful, and working hard to accommodate the number of guests. When we first came at 6:30pm there weren’t many people but after an hour or so it started to fill up more.
Ordered the pork katsu, edamame, and beef dumplings! The beef dumplings weren’t my favourite but they were still good! The pork katsu hit the spot. Also love that you can order using the QR code on the table, and there are photos of the food on the online menu! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
