Perha... read more I visited Koukla for brunch last week and left feeling a bit let down. Many people had praised their baklava pancakes, but I found them to be quite dense. Perhaps I just prefer lighter, fluffier pancakes, but these were a bit challenging to eat and clung to the roof of my mouth. Additionally, the walnuts tasted stale, which didn’t help. I wasn’t entirely sure how the pancakes tied into the baklava theme, maybe it was the orange blossom syrup? Unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed. On a brighter note, we also ordered the truffle eggs, which were quite good and helped redeem the experience somewhat. The service was excellent throughout our visit.
