If you want home-made, yummy Polish food this is the place. Reasonably priced and good service make this place a must visit. If cabbage rolls and pirogies make your mouth water then you can't go wrong here.
After much deliberation about whether to eat at a tavern we decided to take the plunge - what a pleasant surprise. the food was delicious, great value and the staff extremely friendly.
This place makes the best nacho's in the west end. If you are a fan of cheese do come here! They also have a great jukebox as well. My husband and I love going and filling up the jukebox with our music selection, having a beer and eating!
Honestly, I liked the previous iteration of IS better. It had more of a dive bar atmosphere with interesting characters. Now it feels like just another standard bar. Not very exciting.
