Hakka Wow - Toronto

Went on Mothers Day, on a whim cause there was empty tables. Food was delicious overall was delicious. We ordered hot and spicy soup, crispy beef, mango chicken, Manchurian beef, and there hakka wow fried rice. The soup was a little bit too salty for our taste, however all the other flavours within the soup were fine. All other dishes were amazing, with a good flavour profile, and serving size. All the ingredients were extremely fresh. My favourite dish was the Manchurian beef, as the beef was very tender and melted in your mouth. The wait staff were very attentive and came by asking how everything was. We also got multiple water refills. The lighting was a bit dark in the dining area, when they turned on the mood lighting. At the end of the meal the mothers at the table received a rose. Would definitely come here again.

We went after a skating party, and we were hungry! We seated ourselves on a nice Sunday afternoon. Our server was quick and attentive. We ordered way too much food, but we like restaurant leftovers. Their pekkorahs and fresh sauce that came with them were delicious! We ordered Veggie Pad Thai, Shanghai style Chow Mein, Singapore noodles, Crispy Beef and Butter Chicken....all were delicious and plentiful. A little unexpected for Toronto but appreciated. We had enough leftovers for 2 more meals! Well worth the drive from Burlington and so authentic! We are going back soon! I wish I could go NOW!!!! I am almost afraid this place will become too popular and things may change, but I can't keep it to myself! Good news needs to be shared! BIG VALUE and Delicious food here! My son is a vegan and he was so happy with his choices! So many to try next time!

We went for team dinner and had a few food allergies. They were very accommodating to make food for those individuals. They listened to what was required.They don't have desserts so they allowed us to bring in our own and provided plates and cutlery.Service was very good.

We stopped in for lunch today, our first time, and chose two medium bowls of soup...the chicken and shrimp hot and sour soup and the chicken tom yum soup. Both were amazing, and full of fresh ingredients. Perfect spicing, too. The menu looked amazing, with influences of Thai, Indian and Chinese. If the soup is any indication, guessing the rest of the food is just as special. Simple decor in Little India. We really enjoyed it!

Ordered in for my birthday -- feast for 5. Amazing! Flavourful, fresh, good value, large portions. Something a bit different from anything that I've had. Ordered online and the order was on time (even a wee bit early) and hot. I read a lot of reviews and made sure to order what sounded like the best dishes, like chicken pakora and crispy beef. This definitely will become my family's "go to" order-in place. Also, it can be hard to please everyone in our family, from my 89-year-old mother who doesn't really like spicy food anymore, to our 20-year-old non-adventurous-eater boy. All five of us LOVED everything.
