Funkies is one of those places the silver haired Toorak folk go amongst the young ones like myself. Steve's Omelette is perfect and the french toast good too. Very 90's feel inside and good seating outside (but a lot of smokers! Very cheap for the area and better than a lot of the options around! View all feedback.
This is my local go to and between the great friendly staff, great prices and unpretentious setting it is unlikely to change. I recommend the Bacon Egg special, foccacias and chicken burger for great simple taste and generous serving sizes.

It seemed that I was the only non regular at breakfast. So I ordered big, poached eggs, bacon, spinach and mushrooms with toast. And it was terrific and generous. My only whinge were that the eggs tasted of the vinigar solution in which they were cooked.

THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT THE PANCAKES!!!!! Light, fluffy, the right bounce and they taste delish!!!!<br/ <br/ Chicken and mushroom pasta was also a hit with the table. <br/ <br/ Great non pushy waitstaff who are attentive without annoying you. First time here and very impressed :
