I live only 30 metres from this restaurant so I would love to promote it, but I cannot do this in good faith. We were actually made to feel unwelcome by the staff, despite the high cost of the meal. The food is certainly decent, but there are better quality restaurants for this price in the area, so best to avoid this one unfortunately. examples: we were refused to be given a wine list or dessert menu. Instead, we were shown to the wine room; we asked for some explanation on what we saw, we were actually scoffed at and were refused any prices. When I was gestured over the dessert cart because our waitress refused to give us a dessert menu and refused to talk to the options, she then refused to help me understand what I was looking at. Therefore, we completely guessed both our wines and our desserts. We constantly had to ask for our accompaniments (bread, olive oil, water, salt), which did not always arrive. I had to hunt my waitress down to pay the bill after our guests were made to wait for amost half an hour. And to top it off, we were not smiled at by anyone in the restaurant, our waitress just glared at us when interacting and the bartender would not help me despite requests for information. I wish I could say this happened on a busy night; but there were only 5 tables eating during our entire 3 hour ordeal.

In the summer, the terrace is very enjoyable; and the service is ok although they act as if you'd be in 3 star Michelin in Place Vendome in Paris....The menu is good and I recognize you find a lot of dishes that are not easy to find even in other Italian restaurants the Ossobuco or the Risotto al Gorgonzola, for example.However, there is nothing too difficult to prepare by yourself at home...so, prices are absolutely crazy! the Ossobuco with a mini dish of rice is at 52 CHF....come on....not acceptable.So, if you want to waste a lot of money, go there. You will eat well, but the memorable part will remian the bill...

Veal Osso bucco was good but all else average And way overpriced. Suggest restaurant de la reunion in veyrier for much better meal, price and service in same area.
