We all had the Su... read more We had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent, fresh and made to order. We all had the Sunday roast, followed by delicious desserts to share. The restaurant is dog-friendly, and our little dog even got his own bowl of water and a blanket.

The barmaid was fabul... read more I discovered this restaurant with my mom, wife, and dog (not necessarily in that order) while we were getting hungry and pressed for time. The barmaid was fabulous, the chef was skilled, they had a great selection of real ales, fantastic food, and the locals were friendly and easy to talk to. The restaurant is dog-friendly with a lovely garden. I wish we had a place like this in our town! I highly recommend it. The village is also charming, be sure to check out the windmill.

UNFORTUNATELY since this photo this lovely family country pub is now a pizza/burger pub. I have not been in so I cannot comment on how good the burgers and pizzas are all I know we have lost a great British Sunday roast. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20
