Description

Nestled along the picturesque waterfront, The Archive offers a delightful dining experience with an array of vegan options, including flavorful harissa pastries and inviting cakes. Guests have raved about the quality of the coffee, enhanced by plant-based milk choices. While some were eager to try the elusive vegan brunch, others mentioned mixed experiences with traditional menu items, including sandwich confusion and portion sizes. Nevertheless, the staff’s friendly service and the restaurant's modern decor create a welcoming atmosphere. With stunning marina views and a promise of fresh, creatively prepared dishes, The Archive stands out as a reliable choice for both casual coffee breaks and family lunches.

Archive is one of the best, most reliable places to eat in Ramsgate and it looks out on the harbour. We had 2x avocado on toast and 1 creamy mushrooms on toast. All excellent and these days good value for freshly prepared food. They do excellent breakfasts too. Need to come here more often.

This is a great cafe under the arches in Ramsgate. We sat upstairs with lovely views of the harbour. The service was delightful. Delicious breakfast pancakes, granola and yoghurt and washed down with the freshest cinnamon bun. Highly recommend.

I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I only wanted a light lunch, so I ordered the Smoked Salmon Cream Cheese Sandwich with a side salad. The menu only listed a bagel, but I requested a sandwich instead. The staff seemed confused and asked if I meant two slices of bread with the salmon inside. My husband also ordered a sandwich, but his cappuccino was small for the price. The sandwich had very little salmon and the side salad consisted of only a few strands of lettuce. The staff appeared bored and I do not plan on returning. The area is beautiful with a lovely view of the harbor.

It's nicely done in here but just didn't hit the spot for us. A tiny cappuccino for £3.50 and expensive menu plus a slight unfriendly vibe from one of the staff meant it wasn't for us.
