All the other dishes were great as well. We will come back next year.

My wife and i on our 48th wedding anniversary plus my daughter starters were stunning- tempura prawns, croquettes and melon/ ham, main courses duck paella, chicken and chips and fish special. All perfect. No space for desserts. Well done Juan and your team you are all a credit to Sand Restaurant. We recommend this place to everyone

This restaurant... read more Moraira can be a difficult place to judge by reviews alone, given the variety of visitors and expectations — and this is another case in point. This restaurant easily deserves a 4.8 rating or better. Although it is technically a hotel restaurant, it excels in every respect. Whoever the chef is deserves enormous credit, because every dish we have tried over the years has been consistently outstanding — genuinely on a Michelin-star level. The same can be said for the rest of the staff, who combine professionalism with a warmth and personal attentiveness that make every visit memorable. In a different setting, this would probably be recognised for what it truly is: an exceptional restaurant with an exceptional team. The beachfront view is simply an added bonus.

He knocked my wifes napkin from the table. Not an apology or ' excuse me '. The manager should pay attention to bad reviews, not make excuses.
