The service was good and the lady was friendly. As for the food a bit pricy for certain items. Bean burrito no cheese $9. Also the enchilada plate $15. The soda machine needs to be cleaned or check because the water and tea tasted gross. View all feedback.
What Orionya Jensen doesn't like about Master Taco Tempe:
Edit: i had to come back bc my experience today was pretty bad. Like a totally different restaurant. Rice was overcooked mush and tasted like dishwater, taco meat was overdone and dry, and the enchilada sauce and beans tasted like it was dumped straight from a can. I can't believe the 180, this WAS my favourite taco shop. : Freaking delicious. Presentation was a little sloppy but i think that may have been just in tr... View all feedback.
I visited this morning with my partner, and he created a custom burrito choosing four ingredients. I thought everything about the burrito was perfect. For me, the most important aspects of a burrito are the tortilla and portion size, and both were excellent. I ordered the chilaquiles based on the recommendation of the young woman at the counter, who was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about the menu—something that many places often lack. The chilaquiles (I hope I'm spelling that right) were outstanding. The green sauce was tangy and delicious, the chips were thick, and they were topped with two eggs cooked medium (though I prefer them over easy), a portion of beans, and a side of breakfast potatoes. Next time, I’ll go for over easy eggs and double beans, skipping the potatoes. This place is a must-try, and I will definitely be returning. My only complaint, which seems common at many food spots, is that $25 for two breakfast items without drinks feels a bit steep for a taco shop.
On the other hand, I had a previous experience that was absolutely amazing. The food was incredibly delicious! While the presentation was a bit messy—likely due to the way it was transported—the flavor more than made up for it. The best Mexican food doesn’t always need to look perfect to impress me, and this meal was absolutely fantastic!
I really enjoyed the California burrito I ordered! The restaurant was tidy, the salsa bar had plenty of options, and the staff at the register were very friendly. My burrito featured tender, flavorful carne asada, all wrapped in a delicious flour tortilla with a nice blend of pico de gallo, cheese, and sour cream. It was exactly what I was craving! Additionally, the food was piping hot when I got home, despite being takeout.
The food was incredible! I visited for Taco Tuesday and tried a couple of street tacos along with a burrito, and they were simply delicious! I also really enjoyed their hot and diablo sauces! I will definitely return!
The food was incredible—perfectly seasoned with generous portions. The fresh pickled carrots are exceptional!
