All the food we saw looked great and clearly a lot of thought has gone into... read more The food we had was tasty, full of flavour and perfect for a quick lunch in Tarifa. All the food we saw looked great and clearly a lot of thought has gone into the menu. Unfortunately, on the whole the service was not great. Two...waitresses seemed friendly and professional enough. However, our waitress was abrupt, rude and we felt unwelcome throughout our meal for example, there was no thank you or acknowledgement when we paid our bill (we speak Spanish so it was not a language barrier issue), she was slamming plates down on the table and not wearing her mask properly (e.g. the mask hanging on her chin). We understand that August is a busy time and work environments with covid are difficult. But, the restaurant was not full and the service had a slightly negative impact on our day. I would like this to be seen as a constructive review and a way to improve service. A simple hello and thank you goes a long way.
