The prices here are outrageous, and the food didn’t live up to expectations. One diner even remarked that a burger he had at the racetrack was far better than the $34 wagyu burger served here. The $44 grouper was smothered in a heavy sauce, completely masking the taste of the fish. The snapper was served whole but was also bland and lacked flavor. To make matters worse, both the snapper and grouper came out without any side dishes. The whipped potatoes we ordered separately arrived cold, with chunks of cheese still intact instead of being properly blended. Overall, it was a very disappointing final meal for our trip, costing $355 for four people for food that just wasn’t good. One diner even suggested that Subway would have been a better choice, and the others all nodded in agreement.

Outstanding food and service!! We had two excellent and memorable dinners here this week, with great service and ambiance. My gal is a chef and we were hugely impressed with all aspects of the restaurant. Highly recommend the oysters, Scallops, and Tuna, but also several great sides: the polenta with mushrooms, broccolini, caesar salad, fabulous truffle fries and mocha cheesecake. Chef Alessandro was very personable and talked with many of the tables, and had some great suggestions! Servers Bob and Zak were both excellent too.

**Dining at Oystercatchers: A Mixed Bag of Experiences** Oystercatchers offers a picturesque dining experience overlooking the water, with many patrons praising the stunning sunsets and inviting atmosphere. The menu, rich in seafood, boasts standout dishes like oysters, calamari fries, and exquisite flounder, complemented by exceptional service. However, some visitors experienced delays and inconsistencies in food quality, and noise levels in the dining room could detract from the overall experience. Despite these drawbacks, the restaurant's charm and dedicated staff make it a place worth considering for special occasions or a romantic dinner, especially if you're a seafood lover seeking beautiful views and vibrant ambiance.

We went here for my mother's birthday dinner. And although it was a bit of a trip for them to find the place they found it and we had an amazing time! We sat outside on the deck watching the sunset! It was absolutely beautiful! The food was delicious and these drinks!!! The weather was perfect and we had great waiting staff all the time! I recommend this place to anyone who celebrates something special or just a romantic dinner near the water!

We arrived at 5:30 a.m. on a Tuesday, we were basically the only ones there, so it was nice and quiet for our whole meal (ideal for us). Sat right through a window that gave nice warm lighting. The atmosphere and the ambience were very bright and beautiful. Our servers were professional, friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, the best scallops I had, and the sapphire margarita was to die. Would eat again!

The seafood tower was the best I've ever had. The flounder was exquisite. I enjoyed my meal in a private dining room with an incredible view. It was expensive but definitely worth it.

We had a reservation for 5:30 on a Monday and were seated right by the window, which provided us with a stunning view of the sunset. Our server, Matt, was incredibly attentive and professional, making our dining experience a true pleasure. The food was outstanding; we enjoyed the charred octopus, oysters, berry salad, salmon, and snapper—each dish was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Tampa, especially if you can time your visit just before sunset. Thank you, Oystercatcher, for a wonderful experience!

Holy cow the food is so good! We had the calamari fries, grilled octopus, seared ahi, and filet with lobster tail. To drink we tried the lemonade something. Everything about this place is top notch from the atmosphere on the water to the service and food.

We had an 11:45 am reservation, but when we arrived, the restaurant was mostly empty and our table wasn’t ready. It took them 15 rather confusing minutes to seat us in what was an almost deserted restaurant. The oysters, cocktail shrimp, and calamari were delicious, but the main courses were underwhelming. Our server, whose name I didn’t get, was exceptional and definitely the highlight of our visit. However, the restaurant itself could benefit from a bit of TLC.

The food and service were unparalleled. Our leadership team, who reports directly to the CEO, took us out to dinner here during our visit to the Lakeland office. The quality of the food and service was excellent, and we all enjoyed a fantastic experience for our holiday celebration. Thank you! We will certainly bring our leadership team back to this restaurant in the future!

An awesome spot for having dinner and enjoying the sunset. Had some Oysters, Tuna Yellowtail and Brussel Sprouts. The last two were worth coming back for. And yes, the assorted breads were perfect!! Keeps you wanting more. Good food with good presentation.

My family and I visited this restaurant on our trip to Tampa. Our waiter, an older gentleman was amazing! My cousin was loosing her voice and he brought her a special drink, he called it “Grandmas remedy”. She loved it! The food was pretty good! I enjoyed the Empress 75, it was fun and tasty!(the bubbly drink). I think the restaurant could use a bit more care when it comes to cleaning. There were certain things that looked like they needed to be wiped down, and the bathroom need a bit more attention.

Although the portion sizes were on the smaller side, our server Donald was truly fantastic! We enjoyed ourselves immensely in a beautiful setting with a stunning view of the bay. I would...

This is truly the best restaurant in all of Tampa. The views are incredible and incomparable to any other waterfront dining in the area. I highly recommend...

After checking in, we were informed that we would need to wait 30 minutes for our reservation. Why? That’s a good question. Diners were being seated. In the end, one thing led to another...
