Una vera e propria Istituzione se volete mangiare a vase di pesce secondo la tradizione siracusana . La location non puo avere termini di paragone in quanto il ristorante si affaccia su un cortile interno di un vecchio palazzo sede una favoltá universitaria, stupendo, suggestivo e molto molto romantico per chi desidera una cena in intimitá lontano dai rumori della folla che occupa ortigia in estate. La cucina merita 5 stelle e forse piû, personalmente sono cresciuto con la loro cucina, ho avuto l'onore di conoscere il Sig. Pescomare tanti anni fa come persona e come cuoco e posso tranquillamente dire che non ho mai mangiato un piatto spaghetti con le cozze cosi buono in vita mia, e vi assicuro che adesso il figlio Sebastiano sta portando avanti la tradizione e tutta la conoscenza del padre con vera maestria.... Dopo moltissimi anni sono ritornato in questo ristorante e sono rimasto senza parole.... Grande Seby! Il servizio é molto curato e.molto attento grazie alla Luisa che non fa mai mancare nulla ed é sempre pronta e attenta alle vostre esigenze, vi mette a proprio agio con la sua accoglienza tipica nostra siciliana. A real institution if you want to eat fish dishes according to the Syracusan tradition. The location cannot have terms of comparison as the restaurant overlooks an internal courtyard of an old building that houses a university, beautiful, suggestive and very very romantic for those who want an intimate dinner away from the noise of the crowd that occupies Ortigia in summer. The cuisine deserves 5 stars and perhaps more, personally I grew up with their cuisine, I had the honor of meeting Mr. Pescomare many years ago as a person and as a cook and I can safely say that I have never eaten a spaghetti dish with mussels so good in my life, and I assure you that now the son Sebastiano is carrying on the tradition and all the knowledge of his father with true mastery .... After many years I returned to this restaurant and I was speechless .... Great Seby! The service is very accurate and very attentive thanks to Luisa who never misses anything and is always ready and attentive to your needs, she puts you at ease with her typical Sicilian welcome.
