Was Sue T at Vessel Dining a mag?
We had a sit down lunch here. I was very pleasant bright, spacious, and with a lovely range of food options, at a good range of prices. And it serves wine, should you be so inclined. I greatly enjoyed the salad options, which worked well for my food intolerance diet. Many lunch places are so bread/wheat based that I struggle to find a decent option for lunch. (I often end up with eggs on gf toast but you don't always... View all feedback.
What Thomas L dislikes about Vessel Dining:
My visit to vessel was on business and I cannot believe how substandard the offering was. To top it off an 8% surcharge for large groups! God forbid without large groups the restaurant would be empty. In terms of the food, I would prefer McDonalds to the cheeseburger that was provided at a bargain $20 price. My advice is to save yourselves and go elsewhere. View all feedback.

Was lucky enough to receive an #invite to @vesselsydney in Barangaroo the other day to try their new menu couldn't visit and not try the burger though <br/ <br/ Vessel Double: beef, double cheese, pickles, onion jam and tomato relish in a bun w/ beer battered chips <br/ <br/ Cute little burger, loved the addition of the caramelized onion. If I didn't order the spatchcock and dessert as well I'd have smashed a double
Ive walked passed this place heaps of times after work drinkies at BUNGALOW 8 across the road and finally got the chance to come in and try the food!<br/ <br/ Our hostess that evening was the lovely MARITA who has a great knowledge of food and wine from her native Italy and helped us tremendously with recommending the dishes we had this evening which were prepared by the talented Chef Alessandro!<br/ <br/ THE SHARED ANTIPASTO PLATE is a great teaser in Italian and features cured proscuitto, marinated vegies, foccacia, grissini and real authentic mozzarella! An essential accompaniment to this is a glass of red which Marita recommended to us.<br/ <br/ The SEARED TASMANIAN SALMON with a mixed side salad of beans, sicillian olives, semi dried grape tomatoes dressed in a viniagrette was beautiful. The skin was crisp and its flesh perfectly cooked. The beauty of Italian food is in techniques like this where the soft flavours of the salad dressing, crunch of the beans and contrast between the saltiness of the olive and sweetness of the tomato are prominent yet not overpowering allowing the salmon to sing through in its natural flavour.<br/ <br/ The PAN ROASTED CHICKEN BREAST was so cleverly cooked. Rough cut and cooked in a way where the moisture of the meat was retained while crisping its outer layer. The heirloom tomato panzanella rested on an egg plant puree and it was a surprising and interesting combination not often seen in many menus of sydney Italian food.<br/ <br/ The VENUE features high ceilings with 3 areas that cater as a bar for casual group meetups while the restaurant has a very intimate and romantic feel. The layout of the dining room features a centrepiece view into the bustling kitchen where some of the most delicate creations showcasing the essence of Italy are created.<br/ <br/ Marita tells us wine is a staple in Italian culture and this is truly reflected in the extensive selection of wines that are on offer, deliberately chosen to compliment specific dishes on the menu. They have been sourced from various regions of Italy.<br/ <br/ Delicate, Flavoursome and Warm is how i would describe this place and definitely an essential stop the next time im out and about
