Description

Hidden, an upscale cocktail bar in Sunderland, boasts a beautifully decorated ambiance and a creative drink menu. While patrons initially rave about the enjoyable atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff, experiences can vary. Some guests express disappointment over confusing reservation policies and perceived rudeness from staff, including security. However, commendably, a compassionate bouncer is praised for his assistance with a patron in distress. Many agree that the bar offers a great social experience, with enjoyable cocktail-making sessions and a distinct music vibe. Despite some criticisms, the overall impression is that Hidden provides a unique and enjoyable nightlife destination worth returning to.

Mixed reviews in the town tonight, especially the so called doorman at hidden. The man on the left of the picture no issues thank you. the larger so called gentleman on the right, huge issue, long story but the main issues very simply were. 1. Lier, 2. rude, 3. unprofessional, 4. Foul mouthed and over all a very nasty person.

Just popped in on the off-chance and discovered a venue under new management with huge potential being realised. The vision and investment by the new owners is apparent. Right now I would recommend it to most of the people I know but in the short term it will become a multi-experience venue that will be an asset to Sunderland’s social life across the board. Give it a visit, it deserves the chance. Price per person: £1–10 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
