I counted about 20 patrons, including me and my son, but I only ev... read more We arrived at the restaurant at about 5:45. It was probably about 1/4 full when we got there. I counted about 20 patrons, including me and my son, but I only ever saw two staff members. It took 10 minutes for someone to come over and greet us, and another 10 for the waiter to bring menus and drinks, at which time he took our orders. That's 20 minutes invested, to get a glass of water and a glass of milk. 25 minutes later, the waiter came back and said he had put in our orders, but the chef said he hadn't, so our meals hadn't been started yet. He apologized and said that 'the place is crazy tonight'. We opted to leave rather than invest who knows how much more time, and we went to Subway instead, because we were by that time very short of time and needed to get back to the rink for my son's next game.I should note that shortly after we arrived, a couple came in and sat nearby. They had the same level of service that we had, and left shortly before we did, followed by a hail of apologies from the waiter, just as we did.Never again. I'm going to try to rate this on what I experienced, which was service and atmosphere. If TripAdvisor won't let me leave the remaining fields blank, I'll rate all as average.

When we walked in the bartender gave us ou... read more Went to the restaurant last night for Valentine's Day, making a reservation and everything for my husband and myself. When we walked in the bartender gave us our choice of table. we sat down and waited to be given a menu. Not even five minutes after we were seated another couple came in and sat down and about two minutes later they were given menus. we waited all of ten minutes to get a menu or a glass of water.....SOMETHING ANYTHING just be acknowledged would have been nice.It was entertaining (NOT) to watch the bartender and the one waitress serve the other tables and ignore us completely. once we seen the the other couple that came in after we did get menus we got up and walked out. There was about 5-7 tables in total and the majority of them were well into their meals. I think it is disgraceful to take the time to make a reservation and then to be treated like that. I will never darken their doorway again..... just plain rude service.

While it may not be considered a high-end breakfast spot, it's a great place to refuel and start your day. My breakfast was quickly delivered to the table, with everything in order. The coffee was always topped up, and the home fries were delicious - simple, not overly seasoned. The food reminded me of a classic diner experience, with eggs, bacon, and potatoes prepared just right. It's a no-frills, satisfying meal at traveler-friendly prices.
