General We stayed in Stuttgart for the business and wanted to take the opportunity to taste the Swabian cuisine. Operation We have probably noticed as a local i... read more General We stayed in Stuttgart for the business and wanted to take the opportunity to taste the Swabian cuisine. Operation We have probably noticed as a local inexperience. We were immediately addressed by the employees. A very friendly service gave us a good place and then took over the service. The orders were received quickly and the dishes served in a timely reasonable time. It was repeatedly asked if the food is okay. The food Us was offered on Friday soup (Linsen soup). I haven't met this extra offer in any restaurant. The soup was delicious. As a main dish we had ordered a tastefully also good Swabian potato salad with two rust roast sausage and a sponge dish. The associated salad plate looked visually like the other dishes and was fresh and also provided with a small part of potato salad. The screed plate consisted of a part of the Swabian cheese spice, a mouth pocket and a juicy Swabian rust in a mushroom cream sauce. The coating plate was able to convince with optimism and taste. The ambience The ambience is for the topic Markthalle i.O. The plant is rustic. The audience is brightly mixed. The restaurant was well visited and obviously comes to the guests. Cleanliness in the restaurant area was good. The toilet area was still good with slight blows. The path to the toilet in the cellar leads through a relatively steep steel staircase. This could be a special challenge for some older guests.

We tried the soup of the day, different meat dishes, sausages everything was delicious. For those who are hungry the portions are huge! The staff (maybe even the owners? were also nice and tried to give advice and explain the dishes.

The food wasn't good. Worst schnitzel ever had. I ate a sort of local filled dumplings (not my favourite, I found out) ... mostly the sauce wasn't nice at all. While the waiter was carrying them, he asked another waitress (or restaurant manager) to take something off of the dish (as he had both hands busy)...that she did, I couldn't see what... The same waiter went to and from kitchen continuously, each time stopping there, eating and drinking... to have the bill, it was a challenge to make him looking towards our table and ask for it.
