Hahncheneck - Stralsund

Unfortunately it didn't come to eat. because all the tables were occupied and we were unable to take place together at the fourth, we wanted to take a place and eat on the extensive tresen. However, it was not because we were expelled by the court without greeting and without a word with a hand movement and then went back. obviously the sales were already true on this day. we came back to the times of the ddr - well, here is a broiler.

A small, warm and cozy restaurant in the waterstr. the choice of dressing is not bad (especially meat). the portions are quite generous, they can even choose how they want the kartoffels. depending on the weekday is a court in the offer, which is welcome. it may seem a bit expensive, but I can only recommend it if they are looking for a place where they can eat well, I really don't think it will disappoint them.The disadvantage can be that the restaurant is a little small and if they are a group at more than 4 it can be that they have problems finding a place, except that everything first.

This little restaurant was right opposite the hotel amber, where I stayed in stralsund. a good selection of barbecue chickens with different sauces or simply served with a selection of supplements is offered. there is also a selection of carving and sausages. the portions are very generous and well prepared. the big curry sausage with pommes was almost too much to eat. for approx. 25 euro with drink you can eat two very well.

Low prices. eat a lot. especially everything freshly prepared and sour. we're coming back. we are here for family holidays and returning guests of stralsund. the chicken eck is an inexpensive alternative to the expensive restaurant without losing taste and quality. it is located directly at the harbour so that you can still visit the gorch fock or also take a stroll in the beautiful old town.
