He then opened the doors for us but seemed frustrated when we mentioned we were only taking pictures and had not made a dinner reservation. Even though we were not dining there, he insisted on accompanying us as we took photos by the fireplace, constantly ushering us out instead of allowing us to enjoy the moment. I explained we were guests at the lodge and had just wanted to take a few pictures, but he continued to keep us at a distance. It's disappointing, especially when the staff at the lodge, reception, and concierge have been so friendly and accommodating. Fredrick could certainly learn a lesson in hospitality from them!

I dont mind paying for an expensive dinner if the food is worth it. We came home still hungry!

We arrived on tim... read more Dined here for our 35th anniversary. Our waiter Andrew was fantastic, first class. Edgewood is lucky to have him and we lucked out having him. We arrived on time promptly for our 5:15 reservation and the place was pretty much empty as expected that early on a Thurs night but oddly we got stuck at booth #31 so the sun was blaring in my eyes most of the evening and the view kind of sucked from the far right side. That table sucks! The food was outstanding but the chef couldn't nail a medium filet mignon, it was rare. We sent it back, Andrew couldn't have been nicer but it was still rare so we sent it back again! Finally it was medium but the entire dinner plate was reduced significantly including the sides. The elk medallions were done to perfection. The chef made a very nice gester comping us a magnificent desert, Thank you for that!

Joe is one of my favorite waiters and he does a tremendous job of making his guests feel welcome and warm. Unfortunately at some point in the last 9months since I?ve last been here they decided to start serving cocktails in these trashy martini glasses that I can only imaginepoors buying at TJ max/Marshall?s. It definitely doesn?t fit the atmosphere, motif or price tag of this restaurant. Worse yetevery cocktail on the menu is served in this trash. Additionally the steak knifes are worthless and it?s much easier to cuttheir $60+ meats with the butter knives. Management-Feel free to contact me when you guys get rid of this trash and I will behappy to revert to the appropriate 5 star review.
