They moved a little east on Olive and we finally made it there. We liked the updated look of the new place. We were very surprised by the updated prices though. Wow! We almost got up and left, but thought about all the rising costs of things and stayed. The food was very good. It was just like before. Our take away is this. We used to be regulars there before the move. Now, on a rare occasion will we spend that much fo... View all feedback.
What Martin M doesn't like about Pho Long South City:
the spring rolls/egg rolls were pretty good. sadly the pho was very one note. many pho places don't seem to create a depth of flavor with their veggie broth in comparison with the meat broths. also the thai tea was only half filled View all feedback.
Fresh ingredients made my dish appetizing. The waitress was ver helpful with menu item selection. Went with the dry noodle dish, but want to try the pho when it is cooler. Definitely will be returning.Food: 5/5
Our server was great. Food was fresh and nice portions, seasoned well too. Good fruit shakes. They also have a vegetarian menu with good options.Food: 5/5
Decided to go out for lunch with my co-workers on a cold windy Sunday and the place was packed. Imo, The Pho Special was good, served in a big bowl and I love how clear the broth was and how generous the side salad was too. I had the Saigon Beer and loveeeee the way they serve it in a cold mug. Cons? It was obviously understaffed! There was only 2 servers on the floor and 1 host/busser. After we got seated, it took approx 15mins for our server to come and take our orders. Drinks and appetizer came fairly quick but after that we had to wait 40 mins for our entrée (I saw tables came after us, almost finished their meals and we were still waiting for our food to come). And one more thing, the service could be better if it was a bit more attentive. Other than that, Pho Long is definitely a good place to go to when you’re craving for Vietnamese food.
We had the shrimp spring rolls and it was very tasty. Ordered two different Pho, they were also good. Worth the visit.
My boyfriend and i went for a quick dinner date. it was his first time trying vietnamese food and let’s just say we’re both in love now!!! the service was absolutely amazing, and everything tasted so FRESH. it was a bit busy granted we went during dinner hours, but they took care of us and made us feel very welcome. i’ve been craving pho since… we will definitely be regular customers.
