Catrinas Modern Mexican - Springfield

One of the best restaurants in Springfield. The chefs are incredible! Every time we've been our food has been outstanding. The ingredients they use are fresh, every component of the meal is delicious, and the plates have a very nice presentation. Also, the margaritas are amazing! A hidden gem. 10/10 One of our new favorite spots.

Food was great but the restaurant was extremely hot and made our dining experience miserable. We asked about their air-conditioning and was told they weren't aware of any problems. Our waiter had sweat rolling down his forehead. Everyone in our party couldn't wait to finish their food and get out of there. The restaurant needs to figure out what the problem is because it's bad business to not have adequate AC for your paying customers

My family and I go there regularly and are always happy with the food but I was surprised to find out that they NOW charge for the hot sauce.I addressed to the server but she says NOW they are charging for the hot sauce. $1.50 for each small container which wasn't told when asked for it. We had 2. It's not the money but it's the principle. I don't know any restaurants in the world that charges for condiments. If this practice that they're going to implement, I guess it's the last time for our family and friends to patronize the place. Matter of principle. I hope the owner sees this review and reverse this NEW policy.
