Description

Nestled near Zion, this casual pizzeria draws crowds with crisp-crusted pizzas, inventive toppings (Mexican corn), fried mozzaluna, wings, mac-and-cheese and a strong beer/root-beer selection. Friendly staff, good value and a stocked salad bar make it family- and traveler-friendly, though busy weekends reveal staffing and seating inefficiencies—long waits and uneven dish execution (overcooked crust, salty alfredo, tough bacon) have been reported. Note: the location appears mislisted under a different name and may be a virtual or closed map entry.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Good beer selection and fantastic design root beer. Our group ate the Fried Mozzaluna for an appetizer; crispy, gooey and tasteful. A member of our group had the chicken alfredo Pasta and liked the amount of protein, taste and hearty portion size. We also ordered two pizzas; Meat lovers and Mexican corn. Both had one of the best crusts I've ever eaten to be light, tender crust, but with the right amount of delicate chewiness (Denke Croissant). While the meat lover was tasty, the Mexican corn (picked partly ate) was what I had tried to ask for the recipe. It was a perfect mix of fresh jalapeno, a full range of cilantro, a delicious cream sauce and the remaining quality ingredients that filled the taste profile. I just wish I was hungry so I wouldn't have to share it. If they were just franchise, I wouldn't have to travel to Zion just to be in the neighborhood.

It was good food but I've had better. I would recommend it though if you like chill, pretty cheap meals! The BBQ chicken pizza was good but there was not spot of chicken on it....

This festive pizza spot offers plenty of parking and seating options. While our experience might affect the overall food review a bit, I have to say the fried mozzarella bites were incredibly flavorful and enjoyable. The pizza was tasty too, especially with our favorite curly small peppers, though I wish there had been a few more of them since they are small. Additionally, it was a little overcooked for my liking. However, my kids both loved the children's spaghetti with meatballs, and they polished off their plates by the end of the meal. Overall, it was a solid experience across the board.

The name of the restaurant is different from what it actually is. Although it’s labeled as "Zuma," it claims to serve Mexican cuisine. This location should be removed from Google Maps, as it is a virtual establishment. The owner mentioned it closed a year ago, so it’s unclear why it remains listed on the maps.
