What John R doesn't like about Broken Barrel:
Great place for bland/overpriced food and tiny portions. Drinks are ok. I think everything is over priced to help pay for the good view out back which was the only pleasant thing we experienced. I noticed how the manager/Chef interacted with one of her waitresses and it was completely rude and unprofessional. Poor girl came back to us with teary eyes. We tipped her well but my honest recommendation is to save your wa... View all feedback.
Wow!!!! Staff is amazing; Head chef/owner is amazing and passionate! This place exceeds any place in the Woodlands by a long-shot. Great place for girls night and date night!
My husband and I had asked recommendations on a different restaurant in The Woodlands that we haven’t tried. This restaurant came up and I had heard in the past about how good it was, but I always thought it was just a trendy spot and their food would just be ok. (I’m not a huge fan of tapas) I was completely wrong! This restaurant is amazing!!! Every plate we ate was fabulous!!! The portions were surprisingly filling for tapas. I haven’t eaten that well in a restaurant in a long time!! We had the pork sliders, crispy olives, paella arancini, pasta and the S’more dessert!!!! It was sooooooo good!!!!! We will definitely be going back for sure!!!! I also had an old fashion with my meal, they even got the drink perfect!!!!
If I could give it more stars I would! Everything about this place is top notch! The owner/ chef greater and seated us. The tapas were impeccable along with the service! No heat lamps so as your food goes to the window it comes straight to you. Just try it you'll love it!
The chef owner creates the most delectable, devine and heavenly dishes. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients. I was here for lunch today and noticed no compromise from how dinner menu was. Had the sweet potato soup and a flat bread. Sweet potato soup took me by surprise as it tasted amazing. Flat bread was also amazing. If you haven't been here yet, you must. Reasonable priced and lake front dining at Hughes Landing! What a treat!
