I said ok we alre... read more Got there 55 minutes before they close. My welcome was: we are out of anything chicken and we have no eggs plus our bathroom are out of order. I said ok we already hear let’s try this place that everyone is taking about. No one in there but another couple. 20 minutes later no one had paid attention like if they were expecting us to leave. I did leave and I can see them from my car picking up the menu’s up with a smile. They looked at us leaving and nothing was said. I was not impressed.

While the menu is short, the dishes are impressive, delicious, and reasonably priced.

Definitely worth a stop, much better than the food served at the Shenandoah lodges so we were very happy to find off the grid. We will be back!

The interior decor was charming and the outdoor seating area was delightful.
