Highlights include the Teriyaki chicken and fresh eggrolls, with many praising the efficiency and personable service. Ordered pickup and we were amazed at the portion size and flavor of our food. Didn't expect that in a small city but really glad they're here. Already a family favorite and just as good (better) than some big city places we've dined at. If you want something different or just want a break from cooking, give them a try today! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $1–10
Hours are different so I edited those. Call ahead! It’s so simple and fast to just call your orders in. It’ll be ready when you get there if you do! And it helps them keep orders flowing and lines from building up, since they still don’t have the lobby open. If you are out of town you can let them know you’ll be longer and they always have it hot and fresh for pickup! Picky kids? They make chicken nuggets that are amazing! Chinese food is our favorite and I’ve tried 100’s in West Virginia and this one we will travel for! They REMEMBER me every time just from my phone number. You don’t get this high level of customer service anymore it’s a gem! Do yourself a favor and get an order of Teriyaki chicken! The price is just over 7 and you get 6 huge skewers of insanely moist chicken. How good is it!? Good enough that I skip the one 7 miles away and drive over 45 miles to this location when we want Chinese takeout! Below is my Yelp review I posted too! Seriously the best food around! Excellent Chinese. REAL CHINESE FOOD. I see people saying it just doesn 't taste like other places. That is because this place is authentic. This is not the American Chinese a lot of people are likely comparing it to. It is worth traveling for. We recently moved and are no longer 'locals '. I travel over 50 miles just to get Peking takeout several times a month. I tried multiple other 'Chinese ' places in my current area and none are up to par with Peking! Peking is offering takeout only at this time since Covid. But it is so much better than the buffet ever was in my opinion. The portions are huge, I can order takeout and for around $50 feed my family on it for 3 days or more! Larger portions for takeout than any other Chinese restaurants in surrounding areas. Flavorful! This is the real deal there is flavor with every dish I have tried! The eggrolls are the best around and the food is always fresh! Takes about 10-15 minutes from call in to pickup. Literally fast food, call ahead when traveling and pick it up when you stop through. Next level customer service too! They remember you! It was probably three months AFTER I moved when I gave up trying to find any good local Chinese food. I called placed a takeout order and they asked where I had been! You don 't find this level of customer service anywhere else these days. When I really don 't want to cook for a few days and order a bunch of food, they always include something free. Just really amazing service and wonderful food. Want to add extra spice and make it hot, just ask! Truly a great place to order food!
Place has went downhill fast! I usually go there latter in the evening and have had horrible service as of late. Just a shame. Food left out too long on buffet. I've seen cold meat to spoiled crab salad. Mold on the bottom of the desserts. Soups taste like soap. Waitress won't refill your drink and when she does she doesn't even take the time to wash her hands from fixing food over in the little hangout spot by the ladies room. Ants in the sweet tea. Plates, cups and silverware filthy! I could go on and on about this place. I've given them many chances but I believe I am at an end. I guess if you want take out it would be ok but they probably practice the same food handling process behind the door as well. Probably worse. Eat anywhere but here.
Terrible and rude. Yelled at my son for touching blinds and took away the salt and pepper from him. Left without barely eating and they still charges me 21. They should be shut down and let some friendly people Come in.
The food was cold, their soup taste like dish water, we went in on a Sunday and got charged for the Sunday buffet which is the fish day, and was told it would be 30 minutes before the fish would be out, so we waited, we was in there for almost an hour an still no fish, there was unrippened bananas on the desert bar, just all around bad food.. have said we wouldn't go back in there, but yet we give them multiple chances.. I prefer to NEVER GO BACK
