It is a great venue, providing a varied menu and ca... read more I have eaten at the Kitchen several times, sometimes just with my husband, but also in a large family group. It is a great venue, providing a varied menu and catering for all dietary requirements and all ages, as well as being really convenient for the lovely shopping centre and gardens. The staff are really friendly and attentive, and the service is great. The seating is comfortable and the background music is audible but not too loud, providing a comfortable environment for a relaxing meal and good conversation. In summer, we have eaten outside, in a very pretty and safe enclosed area, under a canopy to provide shade when required. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Think Wetherspoons but instead of £11 for 2 it’s £32 for two having burgers. £3 for a coke that’s not even a pint. They are very lucky most of the clientele are ancient and have a lifetime of being use to the stereotypical tasteless British food that we are renowned for across the world. Most of us under 60 would avoid and the clientele on display shows this largely the case. Staff are fine they weren’t rude and our service was reasonably quick. Just the food is so poor. I wouldn’t recommend

A pleasant welcome from wonderful staff. The food (mixed grill and a sirloin steak) was well cooked and very tasty. The meat quality is excellent and it is so good to get a chef that can cook a 'well done ' steak without completely burning it. Well done guys, keep up the high standards. we will be back.
