The staff member assisting us had... read more I attempted to secure a table at the restaurant, but it was fully booked. Instead, I returned later for two takeaway coffees. The staff member assisting us had limited English skills and appeared to be new, but was pleasant. There was some difficulty in placing our order, and a mistake was made when serving the coffees. This error was quickly corrected. Upon returning to the car, we discovered that the cups were only half full, despite ordering a medium and a small coffee. My small coffee contained only four mouthfuls, while my sister's was also underfilled. As pensioners, we lacked the energy to return to the cafe, so I later sent an email to express my disappointment. Although I have been a satisfied customer in the past, it is disappointing that I have not received a reply after 10 days.

However, I have been disappointed with the service on multiple recent visits. The staff was slow to seat us, take our orders, and sometimes displayed a surly attitude. The small selection of homemade options with the coffee was a nice touch.

The service was excellent and the chocolate was delicious. I highly recommend this place. The cake is also very good.
