Was Kris Grainger at Hampton Manor a mag?
First class rooms, first class food, incredibly helpful and friendly staff. We stayed 3 days for a wedding and reception dinner, explored many of the facilities and stayed in the cottage on site. Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The food was amazing, even the breakfast went that extra mile. Highly recommended, can't wait to return. Service: 5 View all feedback.

What Rick Phillips dislikes about Hampton Manor:
What a ridiculous place run by an absolutely greedy team. We booked a room through a travel site, and I called them to book dinner at one of their restaurants. They were both fully booked with reservations from non-residents. Even the restaurant counters were fully booked. However, they were happy to sell you a £500+ room per night, but you are expected to have a packet of crisps at the bar! Service: 1 View all feedback.

Me and my wife came here after we got married at Shustoke Barn in Coleshill. Despite arriving just at midnight, we were warmly greeted by a member of staff who opened the door for us and showed us up to our room. I didn’t get her name but it made us feel so welcomed a comfortable at the hotel. We got a free upgrade on our room (thank you). It was stunning, when we woke up it felt like we were living in a movie. The little touches also made our stay extra lovely. Both being musical people, we especially loved the vinyl player in one of the rooms on the ground floor. It was lovely to sit and listen to music whilst having a drink. We are already planning to return for our anniversary as it was a really special stay.

Absolutely beautiful hotel attention to detail throughout is stunning. Room was immaculate we were in the Henrietta Maria a free upgrade, which we were thrilled with! Best bathroom I’ve ever seen in a hotel room especially the skylight! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Luxury

Not really sure how they got 5*. Service isn’t pretentious, it’s just rude and not very attentive. Food was dog poop, considering we were considering out wedding here you think they would make an effort. Pretty but no substance. And perfect if you enjoy watching budget Airlines fly over you to Birmingham airport. Def not having wedding here Rooms: 3 Service: 1 Location: 1

I’m already planning my next visit! Beautiful location, attentive and lovely staff, gorgeous food and a great atmosphere. They’ve managed to create a lovely blend between a high end experience with a laid back and relaxed approach an impressive feat. Wherever you look, you’ll find attention to detail (hand grinder for in room coffee as an example), within an impressive venue that oozes character. Thoroughly recommended. Service: 5

We treated ourselves to a luxurious stay at this grade II listed hotel. I missed the big sign directing us to the hotel, and Google maps took us to the delivery entrance. After turning around in the village, we came up the long driveway following the signs to the manor. The lady on reception checked us in and took us upstairs and gave us a quick tour of the lounges and bars. The building has been done up to a really high standard but in keeping with the era. The wooden staircase, wood panelling, and elegant furniture complimented the stone windows. Everything in the hotel was high quality and really liked it. I couldn't fault anything about the hotel, everything about it was elegant and grand. The staff were really helpful. When we came back to our room after an evening meal our bed had been turned down, the tea making facilities had been topped up and our bath towels folded nearly on the towel radiator. The room was really warm and quiet, I didn't hear any noise from any other guests. The only negative things I can say are that occasionally an aeroplane flew over and that we couldn't get a table at one of the restaurants in the grounds but we should have probably booked a table when we booked the room. Service: 5
