Reducing one star. We were family of 4 with salads, risotto and pizzas. All of them were served at different times with big delays. All of us ate alone, while others were waiting for their food. The place was half empty, however they were too busy with external deliveries. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about El Shada:
The pasta itself is one of the best we ever ate but the service wasn't great. Also we have been there twice and every time we got the pasta after each other and not at the same time. Is mir fun to watch the other one eat while you are still waiting hungrily. View all feedback.
El Shada Pizza, located in Sofia, is a hidden gem for pizza enthusiasts. The restaurant's cozy ambiance and friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere. The highlight, however, is the mouthwatering pizzas they serve. The crust is perfectly thin and crispy, while the toppings are fresh and flavorful. The diverse menu offers a variety of options, including both classic and innovative combinations. Whether you're a meat lover or prefer vegetarian options, El Shada Pizza has something for everyone. The prices are reasonable, considering the quality of the food. If you're in Sofia and craving delicious pizza, El Shada Pizza is definitely worth a visit.
Great place with amazing atmosphere! Been there more than 10 times and it’s still one of my favourite restaurants! You must try the pangiallo, it’s the best!
The place is nice. You can enjoy the food there, anyway it 's not something Waaw ... The salads are okay I 'm not impressed from them. The mozzarella in the Caprese salad was overripe. The pasta is okay, not so big choice and variations, just the usual ones like Carbonara; Bolognes; Vegetarian one and with Shrmps and salmon what I mean is that there is not so big choices between variations of sauces otherwise it was not bad and it was made al dente as requested. The pizza was tasty and chrispy, I liked it but it came to the table almost cold which completely changes the taste of any pizza... ...so that as you can guess the service is not on a good level, I would 've say even that it is on a poor level, they have no skill to predispose you and offer you something and make you want it and order it that was my feeling, it is nothing personal to the boys that were working there. I would 've give the place another chance in the future.
A must visit place, the food was delicious and unique. The deserts are a must. You must try their lemonade. The service was good too.
Stumbled here by chance and it was so good, we came back again during our short stay in Sofia. The restaurant isn’t big so I highly recommend making a reservation as we saw many guests get turned away. We had both pizza and pasta and both were amazing. Felt that the first time when we went at night, the food was generally better than when we went in the afternoon. Would highly recommend the mushroom pasta and the el shada special. Also they won some award for top pizzas in Sofia. I can’t help but agree that the Pizza really did deserve the award. The servers were great and the cooks were great at putting up a show of making the pizza. Really nice place! Would be happy to go back in Sofia.
