Kinki Restaurant Bar - Singapore
Kinki Restaurant Bar
Description
Kinki pairs a chic, design-forward interior with breathtaking Marina Bay views, fresh sushi and a strong cocktail and sake list—perfect for brunches, dates or happy hour. Diners praise the food and atmosphere but cite inconsistent, sometimes impersonal service, small portions and steep prices. Happy-hour BOGO requires identical drinks and bills can arrive quickly. Restrooms are on the ground floor (elevator required) and the space can feel warm despite fans; window tables fill fast, so reservations are recommended.

Kinki remains my favorite Japanese restaurant in Singapore after all these years. It has consistently impressed me! I recommend making a reservation, as it's often fully booked even on weekdays. The cocktails are delicious, the sake selection is solid, and the food is simply outstanding, all complemented by a stunning view of Marina Bay. The restaurant’s interior design is also remarkable, providing plenty to admire in addition to your dining companions!
We had a fantastic brunch experience at Kinki! The food was incredible, and we enjoyed the freshest sushi we’ve ever had! We particularly loved the scallops, tuna maguro, and salmon. It was our first visit yesterday, but it certainly won't be our last!
The atmosphere was enjoyable, featuring a lovely view of Marina Bay Sands, which makes it an ideal spot for a date night. However, I felt that the food portions were not in line with the prices. While the dishes we tried were satisfactory, none of them truly impressed us. On a positive note, the service was commendable.
Boasting one of the most breathtaking views of Singapore, this aptly named venue is an ideal spot for happy hour, particularly for those looking to relax after a long day. The best tables are often booked quickly, so arriving early is wise to secure a good spot before the reservations start to arrive (and sometimes those guests never show up). For the best experience, opt for the buckets of Kronenbourg 1664—chilled to perfection and perfect for sipping while you soak in the stunning scenery and enjoy the fantastic music. This place is a bi-monthly go-to that consistently impresses. The only slight downside is that the restrooms are a bit of a hike via elevator. However, if you're in the mood for a treat, the sushi and sashimi available on the same floor are just as enticing as the venue's atmosphere, making it a great choice for a meal after happy hour!
