Was Anonym at Easy Does It a mag?
Hands down my favorite bar in Chicago. Want a chill glass of wine? Come Tuesday night and have a nice glass with Jon. Want to listen to live music? Come Monday and have some jazzy tunes with Kabir and Mitch (best bartender in the city) Want to go all out? Come Friday and Saturday night and tear up the dance floor with Maggie. Want to host a private event? Maeve has got you. This place is VERSATILE in the best way pos... View all feedback.
What Jenay Jackson dislikes about Easy Does It:
Bartender was phenomenal, drinks were really good. Music was okay. What pissed me off is the bouncer snatching my phone while I was talking to someone. I get it y’all wanna go home but 2 minutes after closing you shouldn’t be so mad that you’re touching people’s property. A simple “y’all it’s 2am, time to go.” Will do because I get it, people straggle and I have no problem going home when it’s time but that was incre... View all feedback.
This place is SO big on the inside, don’t let the storefront fool you! Great vibes, beautiful seating and wood everywhere and really fairly priced drinks. Loved this place.
From being greeted at the door to getting quick and reliable service, to awesome recommendations at the bottle shop downstairs this place is awesome! The wine they had by the glass tasted great and was actually reasonably priced (not even reasonably priced for Chicago . Just reasonably priced). Even my friends that aren 't as into natural wine were surprised and enjoyed the wine here. The staff were knowledgeable and down to earth about everything. If we hadn 't already eaten, we 'd probably have stayed and eaten more. Highly recommended!
Perfect if you want to grab a glass of wine or a cocktail and chat. This spot feels a little older than the rest of the immediate area. Good music, not overly crowded, not overly loud, and great vibes. I’ll be back!!
Easy Does It, located in Logan Square, Chicago, is well-regarded for its back patio, especially during the warmer months. Here 's a review of what you can generally expect: Vibe and Atmosphere: — Lively and Chill (with a catch): The patio is described as where Easy Does It comes alive in the summer. It 's a relaxed and unpretentious space, making it suitable for casual meet-ups, dates, or simply enjoying a glass of wine. However, the proximity to the CTA Blue Line train tracks means that every few minutes, the roar of passing trains can be quite jarring and momentarily disrupt conversations. This can be a significant detractor for some, especially if seeking a quiet, intimate setting. — Spacious and Dog-Friendly: It 's noted for being a spacious outdoor area, and it 's also dog-friendly, welcoming leashed pets. — Dynamic: The patio often hosts pop-ups, such as vegan food from Herbivore or smashburgers from Natties Patties, adding variety to the experience. Weekend nights can also feature DJ sets, creating a more lively atmosphere, which can sometimes blend with or even somewhat mask the train noise. Offerings: — Natural Wine Focus (at a price): Easy Does It is primarily a natural wine bar. Their wine selection is extensive and approachable, with fun and descriptive labels that make it less intimidating for those new to natural wines. You can get wine by the glass or bottle. However, be prepared for prices that lean towards the expensive side, particularly for their natural wine selections. While they do offer happy hour deals, a casual evening can quickly add up. — Beyond Wine: While wine is the star, they also offer a full bar with craft beer, cider, and a selection of cocktails, including classics. They also have non-alcoholic options. — Snacks: You can usually find a selection of light snacks, including cheese plates. Pop-ups might offer more substantial food options. The patio at Easy Does It is a popular spot in Logan Square, known for its laid-back atmosphere and excellent natural wine selection. It 's a great choice if you 're looking for a comfortable outdoor space to enjoy good drinks and a social setting. However, be mindful of the higher price point for drinks and the frequent, loud interruptions from the overhead train if you prefer a quieter or more budget-friendly experience. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $50–100 Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Dietary restrictions: Seafood here Parking space: Difficult to find parking Parking options: Paid street parking
