An unassuming, spotless neighborhood Chinese takeout earns praise for flavorful classics—General Tso, veggie lo mein, egg rolls and fried dough—served at reasonable prices by attentive staff. Regulars love its dependable lunch portions and handy call-in ordering, though the counter gets busy and seating is minimal. Critics note inconsistent ingredient quantities, occasional vinegary or bitter sauces, dry poultry and reheated-tasting rice. Overall a solid takeout destination with room to tighten portion control and service flow.
The restaurant was spotless, and the staff was incredibly attentive to the guests. If I had to point out something that could be improved, it would be the flavor of the reheated rice. But ultimately, that’s not my responsibility.
House fried rice and Teriyaki Chicken delish ? definitely worth the drive!
I have frequently gone to this establishment because the food was good. I've noticed the last 2 times the food has had minimal ingredients. They use to put more vegetables in the lo- mein. And when you order extra shrimp you can't even see the extra, yet their prices has increased for a lower quality of food. You get a big box of noodles with watered down sauce, and less than 15 shrimp for a large Shrimp Lomein with extra shrimp!
What can I say, I grew up on hop-shing! Since 2008 when I moved right behind it! Service always good, food always to die for!
Great food, excellent service, what more could you ask for. Definitely give this place a try. It's a small place, with great food, a hidden gem
