This café is one of the best I’ve been to in a long time! Their sandwiches, soups, and desserts are fantastic. The tomato basil soup is truly the best! Plus, the owner and staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. I can't recommend this place highly enough! View all feedback.
What Kris Müller dislikes about The Sweet Beginning:
Salad tasted good for the few moments that it took to eat it. A full sized $9 salad apparantly comes in a small box with a tiny breadstick and about 4 bites worth of lettuce. Afterwards, I remember eating, but it does not really feel that way. View all feedback.

I enjoyed everything I ate here! The food is fresh and made from scratch. The soups and sandwiches come in generous portions; even when I order a small or half size, I can't finish it all! Thank you for the wonderful food!
I'm quite a discerning individual when it comes to food. I placed an order over the phone from the Infusion Center for our volunteers to pick up on my behalf. The person I spoke to was fantastic; they told me all about a specific mushroom soup and a chicken salad with cubed chicken. Since I don’t usually consume many granular carbs, this meal was ideal for me. Both the soup and salad were fresh and delicious. I'm definitely coming back!

As soon as the door opens you can smell the goodness of their cooking. We have been coming to this small place since we moved to Sequim. They have the best salads and sandwiches not to mention their pastries. Catherine, the owner, knows how to cook and bake great food. You will not be disappointed.
