As soon as the door opens you can smell the goodness of their cooking. We have been coming to this small place since we moved to Sequim. They have the best salads and sandwiches not to mention their pastries. Catherine, the owner, knows how to cook and bake great food. You will not be disappointed. View all feedback.
What Kris Müller doesn't like about The Sweet Beginning:
Salad tasted good for the few moments that it took to eat it. A full sized $9 salad apparantly comes in a small box with a tiny breadstick and about 4 bites worth of lettuce. Afterwards, I remember eating, but it does not really feel that way. View all feedback.
Phenomenal catering! Sweet Beginning catered my Mom 's memorial for 130 people and we received so many compliments about the wonderful food. Kathryn completely captured Mom 's essence with thoughtful food selection and elegant presentation. Helpers Nomi and Emily honored Mom by delivering attentive, seamless service. I was too busy to even eat but Kathryn noticed, and set aside a few delicious boxes for the family members to enjoy afterwards because she had noticed we hadn 't eaten. When I first met with Kathryn, in my mind I said, I think this is who Mom would pick , and we couldn 't have been more satisfied. Sweet Beginning helped turn a difficult day into a celebration of life.
The food is excellent and I've never had a bad thing. It's amazing what she pumps out of that small space!
Chicken Dill salad is a tasty treat! Add to that a cup of their freshly made soup and an incredibly moist Macaroon for dessert with a lovely aromatic coffee to top it off...oh My!
Have loved everything I've ever ordered here. Love the staff, too!!!
Everything i've eaten here is delicious! Excellent soup, chicken salad, coffee. Warm, friendly service. Cozy atmosphere.
