A beloved, no-frills Scranton eatery known for oversized hoagies (notably 2-foot cheesesteaks), solid pizzas—especially broccoli and square pies—and tasty stromboli. Busy at peak times and takeout-focused, it pairs generous portions, friendly service and retro 1970s charm with bargain prices that keep locals returning. Not fancy decor nor exotic pizza but a step back in time to a 70$ pizza parlor..and that's okay because that's exactly what it is and their business is heavily takeout. They are busy as heck at peak times. The reason for that is their food is solid and well priced. They aim to please and provide courteous and friendly service. We're new to the place and we've tried a couple different pizzas now. We rate them three and a half to four on a NEPA scale. We especially liked the square cut broccoli pie with generous cheese blend and a nice treatment of garlic and broccoli.The crust is particularly light and crispy on the square pie and similar on the round...although I may request it baked a touch longer since I like that extra browning. We plan to try a few more exotic pies and some of the good looking hoagies. NOTE: They take cash only. I think there's an ATM there if needed.
The steak and cheese pizza, as well as the white broccoli pizza, are simply outstanding!
The broccoli pizza was fantastic! They generously added a lot of broccoli, the crust had a perfect crispiness, and the pizza was infused with a wonderful garlic flavor. I will definitely order it again!
Pretty sure they know me by my order at this point. Can't get enough of their steak and cheese ???????????? ????HIGHLY RECOMMEND???? eating here. The guys who work there are pretty awesome too ????
This place has the best cheese steaks also there square cut pizza is awesome very fast service would highly recommend this place.
