What Constance Labbe doesn't like about Zeppelin:
we had chosen a bbq pulled pork burger and a hamburger schnitzel. while the carving arrived very well, the meat at the burger was quite dry. what disturbed us most is that the smell of the frying kitchen was only the next day and decent ventilating out of the things. View all feedback.
I have been in this restaurant times. I would rate the food as average not good not bad but functional, fills u up . with good portions The bigger negative point is the service. I had once a good satisfying service. Once a regular...low experience and one disaster experience. A server manage to forget dishes out of beers arrives far too late even after reminder and the ribs as much as you can was limited to portion each. All in all pretty disappointing and we did not even get an excuse. Instead a... we are all human.. I believe is not the regular server but... if you have the hangover of your live just excuse yourself. I will definitely not go again
The Zeppelin menu is all about quantity, and quality comes second, without major complaints. The asparagus was ok, but not freshmade, and the smallest schnitzel was of typical German quality, but with a fresh sallad rather than the fatty fries etc. There is so much...on your plate you won't need a side order of potatoes. Price ok compared to quantity rather than quality
If you come to xxxl, be prepared to stuff your face with the best schnitzels I've had in Germany. Make sure you have a healthy appetite because the portions are filling. It was the second schnitzel I had while on vacation there and it was...the best. Hot and creamy gorgonzola topped on the schnitzel is still something I crave for since I returned home. They take Euros and USD, so we didn't have a problem and the staff was friendly and courteous. Make sure you stop by this place and if you're really adventurous, try the Schnitzel Challenge and let me know if you were able to finish it. It will be hard to finish, but taste really good trying to do it! Prost
The name of the place is Altstadsbrauhaus but there is two other names in the menu and on the webbpage. The beer was good and i recomend a radler if you have not tried it before. You can also buy bottles of beer to bring...home
Portions of schnitzel and other hearty German fare are ample and quite tasty. Interesting antique decorations. This place is a little confusing because at this address, the sign outside reads: Zum Stadtkrug, Altstadt Brauhaus. I was looking for Zeppelin and asked the waiter if I...was in the right place. Apparently, Zeppelin XXXL and Zum Stadtkrug are all the same huge place, with the same menu. If you're in the mood for German food served in a Brauhaus atmosphere, this is the place for you
