The first thing that should have alerted us was arriving at a restaurant at 7:45 on a Saturday night and the restaurant was empty. The service was fine to a point -- but our server had no clue as to anything on the menu. And we learned from experience that the food was less than desirable, and certainly not worth the price charged. We were paying "dining" prices, but no effort was made on food quality or on décor -- not even any table cloths. Would we go back -- no, but then I don't expect the restaurant to continue, at least under its current management.

I've heard about it, and was pl... read more I've lived in Saskatoon a long time, and I've never had the opportunity to dine at 12 Grill at the Greenbryre Golf Country Club. I've heard about it, and was pleased to hear that our strategic planning session for one of the Boards on...which I sit was hosting this event at this facility. The day was long, and we all enjoyed a nice time of friendship and a meal together at the end of this productive day. I was amazed at how wonderful the food was, and how helpful the service. Grilled salmon that flaked off my fork, beautifully presented with a lovely selection of fresh perfectly steamed vegetables; a lovely fresh salad with my favourite olive oil vinaigrette, and the entree complete with a beautiful pudding and chocolate sauce. Today's breakfast was hearty, fresh and delicious (went back for seconds). The area is under development for housing, and the roads are choppy and difficult; the club house is not stellar in its decor, but the view is very nice. I will definitely be back!

Portobello Wellington was absolutely wonderful and you've got to try the Greek ribs... Everyone had a different meal and each one was fantastic. Desserts were top shelf... Highly recommended if you wish to...have a premium dining experience in a close but out of the way location (with a view as well . A great alternative to the downtown premium restaurant rat race (and closer if you live on the east side! .
