The family that care for the happy guests who live and eat in the wonderful restaurant are friendly and helpful. it is a small piece sky with exceptional style... read more The family that care for the happy guests who live and eat in the wonderful restaurant are friendly and helpful. it is a small piece sky with exceptional style and attentive service. we had been lucky to be there for a choir evening in the communal church where I saw the name napoleon, but I am sure it was a distant related. my man wandered the caves and forests while I was lying to the jet, waited for dinner hour so I could have a cocktail again in the beautiful salon before dinner. we were there for a week to hike the hills and tods.

The Arraya hotel restaurant offered a dinner menu of Basque specialities as well as a more traditional menu with foie gras, local asparagus, fresh fish and beef. Everything was...super fresh delicious, service efficient friendly. We enjoyed an excellent bottle of Medoc at an extremely fair price and menu pricing also was very good value. I only wish we had had more opportunity to explore the menu lunch also looked promising!
