This Italian restaurant 's pizza was absolutely horrible. No red sauce, american cheddar cheese that they called provolone. We figured a family owned and operated restaurant would have decent pizza. Absolutely the worst pizza we have ever eaten. I cant speak for the rest of the food. We were really disappointed. I have never come across any Italians that couldn 't make a good pie with homemade red sauce. Huge waste of time And money.

Very friendly staff and the pizza was good but the calamari and eggplant parmesan left something to be desired. I originally went for 3 stars but frankly, the pizza got it done, and the sauce is fantastic. We got the extra star. Stay in the pizza lane and you'll be very happy. Can't believe we waited so long to try this place out, we really enjoyed our dinner here this evening! Service was friendly, our order came out pretty quickly and the food tasted great! The alfredo sauce is delicious and our daughter enjoyed her small pizza and almost finished it all by herself. Gotta love provel cheese on a salad and there was lots of it too! Really enjoyed the butter spread for the bread, I want more of that bread and butter for at home LOL Will definitely be back again!

Frankie Tocco's showcases the best of St. Louis dining, offering a blend of delicious food, ample portions, and inviting atmosphere. Many patrons rave about the crispy cracker-style pizza and delectable baked ziti, alongside standout items like the chicken parmesan and famous house salad dressing. While service can be inconsistent—with occasional lapses—the staff generally provide a warm, family-friendly experience. Diners appreciated the charming decor and ambiance reminiscent of traditional Italian eateries. Overall, Frankie Tocco's is a beloved local staple, perfect for both families and couples looking to enjoy quality cuisine before its anticipated retirement.

I had a fantastic experience! The lasagna was delicious, and I also tried an Italian Margarita. Although my son's pizza was burnt, they promptly made him a new one without charging us (and we hadn't even complained!). I’m looking forward to going back!

We visited during the Festival of the Little Hills, so it was an extremely busy night. However, our table of six was seated and served promptly. The pizza was fantastic! We ordered sausage and pepperoni pizza, a sausage pizza, garlic cheese bread, toasted ravioli, and a small house salad. Surprisingly, the small salad was large enough to serve four dinner-sized portions. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and the servers did an outstanding job, especially considering how crowded it was. The restaurant is situated in an old building with what appeared to be an original tin ceiling, and there were many family photos adorning the walls. It really created a warm and inviting atmosphere typical of an Italian family restaurant. This was our first visit, and we will definitely be returning!

Great food and excellent service! A waitress, who wasn't even assigned to our table, chased us down to return the box of food we accidentally left behind. The atmosphere isn't particularly modern, but it has a cozy, nostalgic feel, reminiscent of a place I used to visit as a child. I really enjoyed it and will definitely return!

Update: I received a call from Frankie Tocco's addressing my concerns, and they handled the situation quickly and professionally. I appreciate their effort and will be returning for more.

This is a wonderful little spot to enjoy some delicious appetizers, fantastic salads, and some of the best St. Louis-style thin crust pizza you'll find. Their sauce is simply outstanding. The service is great and always friendly, which makes for a delightful experience every time you visit.

If you love a crispy crackery style pizza this is definitely the place to go! My family and I have eaten here two weekends in a row! The salad is amazing and it's not all iceberg lettuce, meats are thinly cut, the house dressing is so good!also order thecheese garlic bread, you won't be disappointed! And what St. Louisian doesn't love a good toasted ravioli! I'm really seriouswhen I say these are some of the best! Why? Very crispy on the outside with a very flavorful filling! I will let the pizza dothe talking! Service is fast and friendly. These kids work really hard keeping drinks filled. Then after go for a nice walk downMain street and walk off all the food you just ate!

Absolutely worst service and attitude from the staff. If I could give negative stars I would! Mady was our server and she got mad and never came back to the table and don?t even bother telling management the lady didn?t care. Maybe this place should justbe takeout only because they seem to lack in the customer service. The rudeness and eye rolling and dirty looks. It?s actuallyshocking how uncomfortable my family felt there because of the attitude and snotty responses.

Good food, good service (a waitress that wasn't even ours ran after us because we forgot our box of food we were going to take home). Atmosphere isn't modern or anything, but feels homely, like a place I'd use to go as a kid, I like it. I will definitelycome again.

This pizza is so incredible that we're planning a trip to St. Charles just for it! You can't find cheese and sauce like this anywhere else except at Frankie Tocco's in St. Charles! We're driving all the way from Tulsa in two weeks just to enjoy it!

I had a deeply disappointing experience at this restaurant, primarily due to the service and staff's demeanor. If it were possible to give negative stars, I certainly would. Our server, Mady, became frustrated and ceased attending to our table, and it felt as though the management was indifferent to our concerns. This establishment clearly has a significant issue with customer service. The rudeness, eye-rolling, and disheveled appearance of the staff were quite unexpected. My family and I felt very uncomfortable because of the staff's attitude and their anxious reactions.

We had a fantastic dining experience! On a Sunday afternoon, we strolled around St. Charles, and most restaurants were only half full. However, Frankie Tocco’s had 90% of its 10 tables occupied, with a steady flow of customers. We both ordered chicken dishes that were outstanding, accompanied by large, fresh ingredient salads. Many diners also enjoyed pizzas that looked delicious. We're really glad we chose this place!

I visited this restaurant for the first time today for lunch, and it was absolutely amazing! This little spot is a real gem! The pizza was fantastic, and the cheese garlic bread was delicious. The salad with provolone was wonderful as well. My wife ordered the chicken bruschetta and said it was superb! The service was excellent too! We definitely plan to return to this place and highly recommend it to others!

We had dinner downstairs with a table of 6 with our friends. Was very busy because it was Saturday evening. Our waitress was great and all of our food was the excellent.Pizza, Chicken Pacata, Lasagna, toasted Ravs, and salads around the table. The house dressing is something you need to try, like nothing you have ever had before.I'm a local resident and somehow have missed going to the great place on main street, but I will be a regular for as long as possible.Go for the food and appreciate the service and try to be kind. You will come out feeling a much better person.Parking: Main Street parking is a challenge on any given day, so pick a spot and try to be happy.

Good food always. I wish they had full menu on weekends. Prices are a bit high but worth it!

After spending several days trying out local restaurants, I finally discovered a true gem! This place has a relaxed atmosphere, making it perfect for both dining in and takeout. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, which was a refreshing change from my previous experiences. Ashley, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure my visit was memorable. I started with a glass of wine and toasted ravioli, which had a delightful crunch and came with an ideal dipping sauce. For my main course, I chose the Chicken Parmesan, served with a side of white sauce pasta and a salad. I highly recommend trying the house salad dressing—it's a perfectly balanced red wine vinaigrette that will delight your taste buds. The fresh bread with garlic butter was a fantastic addition to my meal. Be sure to check out this restaurant for an exceptional dining experience and top-notch service!

I’ve been looking forward to trying Frankie Tocco's for a long time, so when I found out they would be closing in two weeks, I knew I had to go. My friend and I visited on a Thursday evening and only waited about 15 minutes for a table. We decided to share Frankie's House Salad and a Large Pepperoni Pizza. The salad was amazing, featuring a red vinegar-based dressing with a lovely hint of sweetness. The provel cheese in the salad was incredibly thin and really enhanced the flavor. The pizza was delicious, with a thin, crispy crust topped with provel cheese. Personally, I would have liked a bit more sauce, but that's just my preference when it comes to St. Louis-style pizza. I’m really glad I had the chance to experience Frankie Tocco's before they close, and I wish them all the best in their retirement.
