My husband and I enjoyed happy hour and brunch and I was excited to bring my daughter here for dinner. It was okay but lots of room for improvement.

The hostess was very nice and ask... read more I was called by Tom George to let me know that they were not going to be serving brunch during the summer months, only dinner. The hostess was very nice and asked me to reschedule for dinner which I did. The hostess also offered my party a round of drinks for the inconvenience. So I arrived at the restaurant at 6 pm on Sunday as I scheduled to celebrate Father's Day with my family and the restaurant was closed. We were very surprised and disappointed. The restaurant did not call the next day and I decided I will not try to eat there again. So on Sunday I went to LA Chapter at the Ace Hotel where we had a lovely dinner which I knew I would because I have been there before.I do not know whose responsibility it is on Open Table to be sure the information about a restaurant is up to date and accurate, but nothing like this has ever happened to me at any restaurant before.

So we went here on a Monday for a birthday celebration I have to say the restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous the location is spectacular their alcohol beve... read more So we went here on a Monday for a birthday celebration I have to say the restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous the location is spectacular their alcohol beverages were very good as far as the food I would say highly disappointed and this is why thereis a three star review most of our dinner entrées came out cold one of the guest with us ordered salmon and it was way overcooked than the waitress very kindly offered to get a new dish and then when the new dish did come out it came out raw. Thewaitress immediately tended to the issue and got the manager the manager issued a refund for the meal and also a gift card toour guess that was with us have to say our waitress and Staff were wonderful and an absolutely amazing job. Like I said we werejust absolutely disappointed with the food two of our guests ordered a steak meal the mashed potatoes came out worse thaninstant potatoes there is no flavor absolutely called my meal I had scallops in the risotto risotto had absolutely no taste toit and came out cold as well we did not make the staff aware of this just cause we didn’t wanna make a big deal of thesituation so that is our own fault but I’m not sure if I would ever go back for another meal there I would go back for theatmosphere and for the drinks because that was very nice other than having a bad meal almost everybody on the table theexperience was delightful
