Food consists... read more Just off the Place du Vieux Marche, Sitio proved to be the perfect spot for lunch on a wet Sunday. Busy and bustling, very French, very friendly. Food consists of assiettes of delicious cold meats and local cheeses, ideal for sharing, with fresh crusty bread replenished as necessary. Ungraspingly priced wine by the glass or bottle. Unpretentious, top notch.

Each selection comes with a special twist -... read more We just had a great meal at this place!!! It is a smallish place that focuses on serving ham from different regions. Each selection comes with a special twist -- local aperitif...local soup..fruit..etc. The servings are large and simple but very elegant. It is food at its purist -- not overdone, or over complicated. The chief was very friendly and explained the choices of meats by region. We had a really pleasant meal. And the ambiance was really very nice -- a bit rustic with old photos on the walls. One of the nicest dinners I have had in a long time. I would recomend the local plate and the Spanish ham. Oh...and make sure to check out the bathroom - a little bit of quircky humor.

I sat down and ordered a bottle of wine and then the owners i... read more I was wandering around Rouen one evening and saw the sign for Sitio and was intrigued by the logo. I sat down and ordered a bottle of wine and then the owners introduced themselves and started dropping off samples of food to try. Pretty soon, most of the other diners ended up saying hello and it became a party like atmosphere. Great wine, Great food and incredible hospitality. I often travel alone and I am not fluent in French, so I am always happy to find such incredible places.
