Awful dry chips, small portions high prices. Can tell its changed owners time to find another chip shop

I have dined at this restaurant before and had a pleasant experience with good food quality. After finishing work, we decided to order takeout. We ordered 2 large fish and chips over the phone. Sadly, we ended up throwing most of it away. The peas and curry were tasty, but the chips were hard in the middle despite appearing well-cooked on the outside. The fish was terrible and did not seem fresh at all. It had a yellow-grey color and a mushy, watery texture instead of the firm, flaky cod I was expecting for the price we paid. It fell apart easily and had a greasy, unappetizing appearance. It lacked flavor and had a strong fishy smell. I am extremely disappointed and will not be returning to this restaurant. I tried to call to voice my concerns, but no one answered the phone after over 30 minutes of trying.

Quick stop while travelling. Good portion sizes and the fish was very fresh. Chips were a tad soggy but we like them like that! Would definitely try again if in the area!

We recently tried the fish and chips at this restaurant and unfortunately, they were some of the worst we've had in a while. The fish pieces were thin and soggy, lacking in white fish content. The chips, which came in a large portion, were pale and tasteless. Even the mushy peas were a strange neon green color. Overall, we were highly disappointed and will not be returning.

The food was terrible and overpriced. I returned after a bad experience with service and mediocre food a year ago, only to find that both the service and food were still awful. The lady running the place was extremely rude and shouted at customers, showing no customer service skills and no concern for the low quality of the food being served.
