After the prolonged closure of the restaurant we went expecting the same menu (which we... read more Used to love going to the restaurant and enjoying a fish and chip meal. After the prolonged closure of the restaurant we went expecting the same menu (which we had checked; and is still showing on the website) and quality but, sadly, it was not to be. The menu in the restaurant did not reflect what was on the website; it is substantially reduced and no longer includes “our famous mouth watering square fillet of fish” meal; or the “Seven Seas special meal” the very two things those in the party were looking forward to. I really hope that these items are brought back on the menu as it’s these items that used to make a visit to the restaurant a treat compared to getting a takeaway. Oh, and they need to ditch their current week teabags and invest in some stronger Yorkshire Tea.

Mushy peas were a strange bright green colour....very off putting and the lid wasn't on the pot so they had spilled all over everything. The fish was not good. Grey colour and quite mushy when cut into. It certainly didn't flake like fish should do. Very disappointed in Seven Seas at Wickersley. Will not be ordering again. Poor food and poor response when they were rung to complain. Not prepared to do anything to rectify the issues. They weren't interested. Customer service non existent.
