The Brecks never fails to provide a warm welcome and excellent service. Our server, Jess, was friendly and efficient throughout the evening. Despite the restaurant being busy, the food quality and timing were both exceptional. The dishes were cooked to perfection. Kudos to the entire team for a job well done! View all feedback.
What Gibson Charles doesn't like about Beefeater:
Was sent an invite to have a birthday `Rewards` main meal free. Decided to go as had some decent steaks after all, it`s a BEEFEATER , isn`t it there. Got there, and ordered steak sampler .....NO fillet steak!!!! Wasted time and fuel to get there. This was a Monday at 5 pm, not busy, so what possible reason could there be for not having any fillet steak in a BEEFEATER restaurant? Can only conclude that it was a cynica... View all feedback.
Alison was very welcoming and made us feel comfortable and relaxed. very knowledgeable and friendly. fab service and excellent food. Thank you.
Came here on Saturday and it was a busy afternoon, the staff were all working really hard and the food were really good! Both my kids who are fussy eaters both said how nice everything was always a thumbs up when they like the...food! We will be back soon for sure!
This is the 3rd time we have been, we were very disappointed, we were seated and served with drinks and then waited for our food order to be taken, after 20 minutes a waitress came to take our order, I asked what the soup was,...she didn't know, this was 1 45 pm, she disappeared, and never came back, started serving somebody else, eventually another waitress came, again I enquired what the soup was and she didn't know, when the food eventually arrived, an hour after we entered, mine and my Granddaughters bacon on our sandwiches was burnt black the chicken hard, my partners pie looked like it was frozen, the food here is not cheap, never got asked if we wanted anymore drinks, definitely won't be returning, plus there wasn't many people in.
We visited the Brecks Beefeater today and was highly impressed with the food, ambience of the restaurant and overall service. We are frequent visitors as it is our local pub/restaurant. We would highly recommend the Brecks to anyone as we have never had a bad...meal there or experience. Today we were served by the lovely Jess, who always goes the extra mile to make sure we are looked after throughout our time there. She immediately knows our drinks order, she is always efficient, professional and overall she provides such a great service. Jess is an approachable, friendly member of staff at the Brecks. Whether it is Jess or Alison who serves us, we always know we will get fantastic service with a lovely smile. These ladies are a credit to the community and nothing is too much trouble. Thanks again
We paid £38 for 2 drinks and 2 mains. A pint of shandy £5.15 and a gin and tonic £5.25. The gin (supposed to be orange) I couldn’t taste. The glass was filled to the top with tonic and there was about 30 Ice cubes...in it. Oh and they had run out of straws. The food which was expensive was atrocious. Neither of us enjoyed our meals. Husband had pie , mash and peas he said the pie tasted frozen and there was no where near enough food on his plate for the price we paid. I had chicken breast with bacon and cheese, coleslaw and about 10 chips. Again no where near enough. We were both still hungry but left after that. We will not be returning EVER as we feel totally ripped off and would not recommend food here to anyone we know.
