Warning! If you visit Casa Laura, you'll go back again. And again; and again ....! The food was exceptional; as were the staff. Being both professional and friendly is not easy. But, when you are in a Spanish restaurant and there are Spanish people queuing up to get in, you you have made a good decision! (A tip: if you are going there for lunch, arrive before 2pm! . The atmosphere was great, and it's just about 100m from the nearest beach.
Bad ,,lenquado, not fresh! French fries are frozen from factory, overall big ZERO also not cheap at all!! Better go la concha, or even the hotel Monterey around the corner! Much better and cheaper! Can you believe it?
The best pork Carrillada i have ever had. Also the sangria its delicious, more sweet than others dont forget yo try the daily fish menu. My wife had had a Lubinas ..... Also 5*
Maybe we caught them on a bad day, after all it was out of season. The ‘family’ seemed to be having some kind of dispute when we arrived and we were clearly not made to feel welcome. Despite being the only customers we were studiously ignored for several minutes before somebody deigned to come over and take our breakfast order, the usual juice, coffee and tomato toast that you have in Spain. Up until now we had been paying €6 for the two of us at various other places in town but today it was €10! No tomato as the Spanish would serve it either, just some rather mean slices of the thing. Wouldn’t recommend
What else do you really want? We don't speak a lot of Spanish and they don't speak a lot of English and yet we got by, ordered food that was suitable for our diets and had a great meal! They don't seem to mind if you linger, in fact it seems like most people do. Would definitely recommend.
