I was thrilled to find a fish and chips shop open at midday! The menu was fantastic, and the prices were very reasonable.

We traveled from Kilmarnock to catch a football match today and were on the lookout for a place to grab a bite to eat. As we drove by, we spotted Marini's and decided to check the reviews. Initially, I was hesitant, but I'm really glad we decided to stop in. The food was fresh, delicious, and well-prepared. I had two big sausages, and my friend ordered a lovely piece of fish with chips. The chips were perfectly crispy, just like our favorite ones at home. Honestly, they were even better than the football game!

The staff were quite rude, and the food was subpar. There are better chip shops nearby.

I just had the worst meal from this place. The mixed calzone was filled with nothing but cheap, greasy chicken from the spit and doner meat. The mixed kebab had four completely burnt and dry pieces of chicken, with the rest being doner. I called to complain and was told I would have to go back to the shop to get a refund. I won’t be returning here again. It’s such a shame because I used to enjoy this place; it must have changed ownership.
