Description

On the North Shore in Rosemere, this quick-service restaurant is celebrated for fresh, well-seasoned, customizable chicken, tasty sides, cleanliness, affordable prices and handy Wi‑Fi. Friendly staff and a welcoming owner win repeat customers, but experiences vary: delivery and service can be slow or inconsistent, portions sometimes feel small, drinks are served in tiny cups, and isolated hygiene and cold-food incidents were reported. Great for budget-minded, fast lunches, though reliability is its chief drawback.

The chicken plate was excellent; the quality of the main ingredient can really make or break a dish. In this case, the chicken is the star, and it's absolutely delicious. You can customize the chicken to your liking, choosing from lightly to well-crisped options, ensuring it's prepared just the way you prefer. The restaurant also offers a great selection of side dishes to complement your meal. Typically, the sides—such as potatoes and rice—are consistently good to very good.

Still the best Amir in the greater Montreal area! Their chicken and potatoes are unbeatable.

The chicken plate was super good, the main ingredient can make or break the goodness of the meal. In this case, it's all about the chicken the main ingredient and it's delicious. You can ask for the chicken while it's being trimmed to your taste, from lightly to well-crispy trimmings and have it just the way your taste buds prefer, with the wonderful side trimmings of your choice. Most times the sides, potatoes, and rice can range from good to very good.

The beef shawarma plate was done very right. I am happy the the chef recommended the potatoes. Garlic flavored and baked with just the right amount of spices. The beef had a much more umami to it because of the spicing and slow cooking. You could taste the flavor from the slow protein breakdown. It reminds me of the doner kebab I would order in Muscat, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, and etc. The vertical rotisserie cooking is reminiscent of the tacos arabes that I get in Temecula, CA. Served on a bed of rice, with heaping salad dressed with tahini sauce or garlic yogurt sauce. There is no hint of sourness in the spicing. I should have asked for an extra helping of sumac to impart a bit of biter to it. Overall the place is clean and efficient in filling orders. Reasonable prices. Now if they only lamb shank which a personal fave I will give six stars.
