That evening I had the Seabream and woul... read more I stumbled upon At Thomas when wandering around Rhodes old town, good smells were coming from the kitchen so I went in. That evening I had the Seabream and would be my recommendation. Everything I had there across 3 different evenings was perfectly cooked and packed with flavour. The place isn’t massive but that adds to the charm, especially when it’s close to the end of season and is relatively quiet. It feels like a hidden gem but clearly has built a great reputation which is thoroughly deserved. I was treated like family when I visited and can’t praise At Thomas any more highly. WE HAD A MOST ENJOYABLE AND RELAXING TIME WANDERING AROUND THE AMAZING WORLD HERITAGE SITE THAT IS THE OLD TOWN, THE CITADEL, THE MUSEUMS ETC ETC. THE TRIP WAS MADE PERFECT BY THE MANY WONDERFUL AUTHENTIC GREEK MEALS WE WERE SERVED AT THE SMALL RESTAURANT “AT THOMAS” BY THE AKANDIA GATE OF THE OLD TOWN. WE ATE THERE FOR NINE CONSEQUTIVE NIGHTS OUT OF OUR TEN DAYS SUCH WAS THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD AND THE FRIENDLINESS OF THE STAFF. THOMAS HIMSELF DOES THE COOKING AND HIS WIFE ANTHI WAITS ON TABLES WITH YOUNG TONI. IT IS WELL WORTH SEEKING OUT THIS SMALL JEWEL IN THE CROWN OF GREEK CUISINE, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.! Truly a hidden g... read more We had a delicious (and cheap) meal here. From 5pm to 9pm, food and wine constantly sat on our table: final score a bill of less than 80 euros. Truly a hidden gem in the old part of Rhodes! The service was extremely nice and works extremely hard. So their planned holiday was more than granted to them. Have fun, and rest well!
