Spring House Grille - Roaring Spring

This is a fantastic breakfast spot! We visited on a Sunday morning, and while the restaurant was busy, the service was impressively efficient. Our food arrived promptly and was both delicious and flavorful, without being greasy. The staff were polite and very helpful. Plus, there’s plenty of parking available!

I never received my toast, and although I requested crispy bacon, it was not crispy at all. The French toast was only cooked on one side, and the waiter seemed a bit scatterbrained.

The majority of the food was pre-cooked, with the exception of the eggs, which were the only fresh item. Everything else appeared to have been sitting around waiting to be served. We ended up eating only the eggs and decided to leave. The staff didn’t ask if there was an issue with our meal, even though our plates were largely untouched, indicating that they already knew. We ended up spending $40 for a poor experience. My advice? Skip this place and head straight to Dunkin' Donuts across the street. Save yourself the time and trouble.

You know you’re getting GREAT food when you see that red and white checkered paper! It’s been a few years since I last ate at Spring House Grille in Roaring Spring, PA, so I decided to pay a visit today. I am SO glad I did! Especially since they went from making decent food to making Excellent food that filled me right up!The meal I had today was the 4 piece fried chicken with “steak” fries and green beans!Oh man! The meat was so tender and loaded with flavor, the steak fries were cooked to golden yellow perfection and the green beans were fresh, juicy, and surprisingly vibrant! I was quite impressed with both the aesthetic and quality!The staff was wonderful and very accommodating during our visit, and the atmosphere was very roomy, inviting and warm. I especially liked the aquarium in the middle of the dining room, the wood siding on one of the walls that made me feel like I was on a boat, and the rotating glass dessert table!Overall, Spring House Grille has REALLY stepped their game up since my last visit, and I DEFINITELY recommend it if you’re visiting the Roaring Spring area! The only negative thing I can say about it is they close at 4:00 pm. Otherwise, It’s a superb local eatery!
