Kitchen Table Bistro is a chef-owned bistro located in a charming brick farmhouse in Richmond. Our menu changes regularly to highlight the best seasonal ingredients sourced locally. Some customer favorites include chicken liver pate, cider-steamed Maine mussels, and grilled butcher's steak with tarragon aioli. Our delicious desserts, such as warm spiced pumpkin-pear crisp and vanilla bean crème brûlée, are also made with fresh local ingredients. We take pride in supporting Vermont farmers and producers by using locally-sourced beef, pork, dairy products, cheeses, and more. Went for brunch with a three year old and a baby. Seasoned restaurant-goers. Reservation for 10:15 and arrived on time. Ordered two mimosas (not for the kids) which took 20 minutes to arrive. Food came out 40 minutes after ordering. Lukewarm at best. I hate cold eggs. So painfully slow. After food was delivered the server disappeared. We had to flag people down to get syrup for the pancake (none served with it) and butter for the biscuit (ditto). Tried to order another round of drinks but had to cancel. Too slow. Food was tasty but I cannot say I’ll ever be back. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

We had a beautiful private event at the Kitchen Table celebrating our wedding with 20 people in the Greenhouse Terrace. Early in our wedding planning process, we reached out to a number of local restaurants to inquire about private events. Right away, Craig was responsive and helpful in guiding us through our options. Unlike other restaurants we reached out to, we found The Kitchen Table was personable, and gave the most flexibility to our needs and budget. The process of selecting our menu was straightforward and we were appreciative that Craig worked with us to include items that we love from the restaurant, including the Beer Braised Short Rib and the Crispy Fried Brussel Sprouts. On the day of the event, we were blown away with how attentive the staff were. As always, the cocktails and food was delicious. Sam made our wedding cake (carrot cake) and it was delicious and beautiful. The Greenhouse Terrace was a dreamy space to host dinner with 20 guests and we loved using the grassy area nearby for corn hole. We had specific requests in regards to the space and we consistently were met with Yes, we can do that! . Thank you Kitchen Table for making our wedding day come to life in the way we envisioned intimate, joyful, and filled with delicious food. They've been consistently iterating the menu in a good way. Each time we go it gets better!! The short rib sauce for the poutine is killer (little secret, if you take some home it makes an incredible Loco Moco!! . The desserts are impeccable...no notes (the chocolate coconut tart is so delish . The vegan grain bowl is wonderful...maybe in need of a touch of salt and crunch but each palette is different, I prefer under vs over salted b/c you can always add salt (the crab cakes are awesome with it . Oh...and the mixed drinks are worth every penny! The Green Goddess is light and delightful on a summer night. We absolutely love the kitchen table. We have enjoyed everything we have eaten at this restaurant and the atmosphere is unbeatable. The food is cooked to perfection. Most recently, Sam made the desserts for our wedding. The photos do not do it justice! Multiple guests raved about the chocolate espresso cake and lemon bars. I could not recommend her more. We are so grateful to Sam for making our big day extra delicious. Go to the restaurant and make sure to get dessert!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This was my first time going to The Kitchen Table. I would highly recommend this restaurant! The staff was welcoming as soon as you walked in, greeted with a smile and walked to your table. Nice variety of dinner options as well as cocktails. I ordered the beef short ribs and was not disappointed! A hearty meal on a rainy day. We barley saved room for dessert and got the tiramisu, which we did not regret! It was delicious! Go check it out, you won't be disappointed!
