Since the takeover... read more The shop has nothing to do with the Aspendos Grill of the past. Everything was perfect at the old Aspendos, and I really enjoyed going there. Since the takeover, it's been a drastic step backwards, in my opinion. The portions in the doner kebabs are meager. The meat is okay. The salads aren't that great either. In my opinion, the shop should have been renamed to avoid ruining the previous owner's good work. I was last there 2-3 months ago. I don't know if things have changed, but back then there was always just one woman there, no other employees. She tries hard, but I don't know if she had any experience with preparing doner kebabs before the takeover. Perhaps they're getting tips from the previous owner, or they're leaving the doner as it is.
